G700 to please, to strive to please,

to accommodate one’s self to the opinions, desires

and interests of others

to be agreeable, by impl. to seek to be agreeable

to match with someone

to be in harmony with somene

This verb does not mean to give pleasure; it does not describe the

character of a bottle of fine wine, the smell of vanilla, the taste of sugar,

or the gestures of a sexually apt partner, but rather the skillful ability to bring

oneself in broad synchronicity with someone else. These skills, in turn,

require intimate knowledge of oneself, the other, and the effects one has on

the other (whether intended or not).

From G2101 and from G2106 comes G2095 (see photo of the board)

G2095 Well

Describes the manner of an action: well

Our action is to reveal the nature of our Messiah

G2106 Well-pleasing

G1380 to think, to suppose, to determined,

to seem pleasure, be of reputation, seem,

trow (to believe, to trust, to think, suppose)

In the classics our verb δοκεω (dokeo) mostly means to think in the sense of to suppose, imagine, conceive of or figure; to get something into one’s head. It relates to dreams or visions.

Our verb may simply mean to occur to, or to cross one’s mind, but with the implication of it being the one that got picked to act upon (eating the carrot cake or not eating the carrot cake)
