Forgive – Gk 863 – To send away – Remit [is to lay aside (a made or disposition) partly or wholly. To refrain from demanding (penalty) Cancel – to free someone from punishment.] Forgive = primarily centered around the act of sending or transferring sth. Someone’s fault and, consequently, to exempt him/her from punishment; to release from one obligation. Divine forgiveness also includes renewal of the offence or miss the mark.

Jesus thoughts to pray to the Father to forgive us. Matt 6:12A, Luke 11:4A.

Father forgive our offence in the measure we forgive others their offences. Matt 6:14, 15A, Mark 11:25

Forgive with Grace (great joy) toward the person or people, not holding a personal offense against him or her; to cancel the debt of someone Luke 7:42

Father has forgiven Christians all their offenses. Col 2:11-14-
